Mac-Bestos,
Inc. offers a wide array of services for the control
and abatement of RCRA and CERCLA type wastes, including
chemical manufacturing residues, metal wastes and metal
salts, unlabeled chemicals, soil remediation and disposal,
fuel and fuel derivative decontamination, and numerous
other types of projects.
We
offer treatment and analysis methods for waste minimization,
lab packing, osmosis decontamination, wastewater analysis,
tank decontamination, concrete and asphalt decontamination,
extraction services, TCLP characterization, etc.
We
have a complete team performing recycling/recovery operations,
including PCB’s, mercury, oils, glycol, Freon,
and metals salvage.
Mac-Bestos,
Inc. can field and equip crews in any situation, ranging
from OSHA Level D hazards to full suit Level A (IDLH)
situations. All crews are trained in Confined Space
Operations, Respiratory Protection, Fall Protection,
Environmental Working Conditions, Task Specific Health
and Safety, etc; and are overseen by a Certified Industrial
Hygienist/ Certified Safety Professional (CIH/CSP).
We
take health and safety very seriously, and hold one
of our industy’s lowest EMR/ OSHA Reportable Injury/Incident
ratings to prove it. As of 2002, our rating was roughly
27% of the national average for our industry. This means
that an average competitor of ours will have roughly
four reportable injuries to every one we incur. In an
industry where injuries and exposures may have long
term, or even lethal effects, we take a certain amount
of pride in this fact. We continuously work to improve
this, as the only rating that truly is acceptable is
Zero Incidents.
